Many libraries and vendors offer live-time online trainings, called "webinars".  Links to information and calendars of online trainings for some of these organizations are listed below:

The OCLC Western Service Center provides information about OCLC webinar trainings on a variety of topics, including cataloging, resource sharing, and digital collections.  You can browse the training catalog, search for trainings by subject or date, and register for training on the website.  There is a fee for OCLC training; as part of OCLC membership, Montana librarians qualify for the member discount on training.

Thomson-Gale Technical and Training Resources is the place to go for a variety of training materials related to the InfoTrac databases.  Information about free live webinar trainings on PowerSearch, Gale Virtual Reference Library, and other individual databases, is available on the training calendar.  To register, click on the link for the desired training and follow on-screen instructions.

The Bibliographic Center for Research (BCR) offers online training on cataloging, resource sharing, digitization and more.  Many of the BCR trainings are fee based and Montana librarians are entitled to member discounts.  Free Friday Forum webinars (not always on Fridays) cover a wider variety of topics, including Web 2.0 topics, and they are free.  Register online using the Workshop Registration Form linked on the Webpage.  It's easy.

WebJunction offers free "Rural In Focus" webinars on topics related to library services in rural communities, including tech planning, grant writing, community partnerships and more.  Check out the Calendar of Events.
